I have quite the story to go with this image. During my 1994 trip in Ireland there were three murder's in county Clare. One day while driving from Clare into Galway along the N18 I picked up a teenage hitchhiker who was thrilled that I stopped to pick him up. He was out there for hours as no one would stop because two of the murder victims were a mother and child that picked up a hitchhiker who was the murderer. So I told him I would give him a ride home. Well he lived in Tulira Castle. He jumped horses and the owner of the castle was his sponsor. This was in May and the castle was not opened to public. I guess in Ireland one gets a tax break if you open it to the public for a couple of months a year. And of course this one was only opened in the dead of winter. Anyway I got the grand tour and was able to get a few images with my 4x5 camera.
