Ballintoy is a small coastal village located within the Causeway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, alongside the B15 coast road, north east of Coleraine, and west of Ballycastle. The village is located about 1km from Ballintoy Harbour, a small fishing harbour located at the end of a very small, narrow, steep road down Knocksaughey hill .
