Title: Bark House Location: Hawkshead Hill, Lake District, County Cumbria, England This was the home of a delightful lady named Shelia Barker who invited me in for a cup of tea and a scone. I photographed her with her dog Ben in 1999 but sadly shelia died last year. Another one of the lovely people who have treated me so well on my journey. She is alive in my memory banks. Thanks Shelia for your kindness. Just up the rode a bit is "High Top", the home of authoress "Beatrix Potter" who wrote "The Tale of Peter Rabbit", and many other children's books.
